I saw many interviews with workers who were injured by or experienced explosions in the basements of both towers. Where did these explosions come from? I don't think it came from the plane impacts...the building were designed to stand up to hurricanes and plane impacts. Very odd. Just watched a video.

It's simple, they don't.
They don't like to answer anything regarding 9-11 that doesn't fit their squeaky clean image of our government. They cannot stomach the idea that our government could be the largest and most influential TERRORIST in the entire world.
They would hate to think that more than half of the earths population suffers for one reason or another so that we can live the life style that we do.
But in reality, it was our government that staged the events on 9-11. they did so, so that the nation would allow them to accomplish their financial and political goals under the guise of "defending our nation".
I will not list all of the evidence that proves that 9-11 was to vast and intricate to have been planned and executed by foreign terrorists because it is readily available on the Internet. But i will say that it is strange that there WERE explosions reported AFTER the planes had hit, and that many were coming from the BASEMENT.????
Or that the buildings were said to have been hot enough to weaken heat treated steel, but people were seen hanging out of the windows asking for help long after the planes had hit.????

None. Many things are left unexplained.
For example, only one lift runs from the floor the plane crashed to the basement.The others run from basement to the 30th floor, 30th and upwards, and so on. Only one is directly connected. It is unlikely jet fuel could have reached there andf caused an explosion (there was a survivor in that lift who only suffered a broken ankle at the time of the crash). There were also seisimic waves detected prior to the plane crashing into the tower, proving the use of explosives.

Explosions were probably flame fronts propagating down elevator shafts, likely enhanced by liquid jet fuel flowing down those shafts. There is no serious reason to believe anything other than the official story.

In response to starting over's answer. Why would jet fuel flow down the elevator shafts if it was already burning? How could that cause explosions in the basements?

I can't explain the explosions. There are probably many explanations. What I find amazing is that for an administration that can't keep anything secret without a multitude of leaks, it has managed to keep its alleged role in 9/11 a total secret for over five years. Amazing.
