I tried everything to get rid of my acne! I now use Mary Kay TimeWise skin care set with their acne gel. My face cleared up in two weeks! This is what I do morning and night:
Clean my face with the TimeWise 3 in 1 cleanser
Put Acne gel on sparingly
let it dry for a minute
Put on the oil free TimeWise Moisturizer
The trick is to to make sure that you use an oil free moisturizer twice a day so that your skin stops producing oil on its own. When you use a toner or acne medicine it dries your face making your body compensate for the lost moisture by producing more oil. If you add moisture twice a day, your body will not have to create more oil anymore helping to regulate your skin.
I loved the Mary Kay products so much that after my face cleared up, I bought into the company and now sell it!
Good Luck!

I know this sounds crazy but it really works. Put a little bit of toothpaste on it (it has to be the white paste by crest) in the morning the blemish will be gone.

Go to your dermatologist and ask for DIFERIN.. that thing works!!! After not having acne on my teenager years I started developing it on my late 20's and it was a nightmare... I didnt know what to do and no matter how many times a day I washed my face or tried to get rid of them I had a one point like 5 big ones on my face.. I thought I was becoming a monster... went to the dermatologist and told me about a hormone imbalance I was having.. gave me the cream.. and tatataraaaaa... I havent had a belmish in more than one year!!! I love that cream.. saved my life... Dont try proactive.. I wasted my money there...

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then twenty times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I cut and pasted from those who voted it as the best answer, (Copied and pasted as written. Capital letters seen are as originally answered)

This is going to sound like the crazy answer of the bunch, but try washing your hair with a nourishing hair shampoo twice a day. Any brand will work. And, before you go to bed at night, after washing your face with the shampoo, coat your face with Neosporin. You'll see a difference very shortly, and it doesnt cost a fortune.

i'm currently doing chemical peel once a week. its pure SA and within 2 sessions, my face cleared up 50%. i'm going to do 4 sessions.
another really cheap way that i found. during my exams i stressed out alot and had broken out all over my face. i used clean & clear SOAP(not liquid) the white bar that contains triclosan. wash it day and night, as much as you want. it cleared up my skin completely within 3 days!! the cheapest and the most amazing ever! but i never use it more than that because it dries out my skin badly and it irritates it. i only use it when i have severe acne and only for 3 days! try it! it cost me about a dollar!
