Anyone know the weight of mulch? Just plain dry bark mulch. Our bag of mulch doesn't say the weight, and I need it for a science fair project and its probably the one thing google doesnt have.

it is pine bark, completly dry.

You're going to have to put it on a scale. Different barks weigh differently, unfortunatly. It depends upon how thick the bark is, what kind of tree it was, etc.

bark mulch is measured by cubic feet.

depends on if its single or double ground... hardwood, pine , oak and also how dry it is. since mulch does hold water well....
