go to youtube and look at the top right corner and click on a button that says help. read all of the things and see that it suits youtube. i have so many vids on youtube, u couldn´t count so take my advice.

I would use google video, its much easier to download your video to a different computer once you've uploaded the video from your computer that holds the video. You'll see an "upload video" option on the google video page

You can change them to email quality from windown movie maker. There are several other things you can do as well so read the help data.
There are other movie making programs and most do have different quality settings to use for different purposes.
