It didnt happen the rest of the night and then today the same happened it again, It is very subtle. I am dizzy but could this be a normal symptom of pregnancy? I have been off my antidepressants for over a week could I still be experiencing whithdrawal? I go to the doc on wednesday...any advice or thoughts would help out. Thanks

any bleeding during pregnancy is NOT normal, unless you are going into labor-
please go to your doctor to get checked out.

This does not sound like a symptom of withdrawal from medications. Being dizzy and some light spotting can be signs of pregnancy, but the spotting/bleeding could also be more serious.

IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING CRAMPING, CALL THE DOCTOR RIGHT NOW.

If you are not cramping and the bleeding is not bright red, you are probably OK, but I would call the dr tomorrow and not wait till Wednesday. I had some light bleeding like you are describing in my 4th or 5th week of pregnancy, and also extreme dizziness.

For the dizziness, you can try 1) drinking more water 2) eating something, especially protein. For me, the problem was a drop in blood sugar because I was not eating often enough.

I am 5 weeks pregnant and today I noticed light red/brownish spotting when I wiped after going to the bathroom, so I called an emergency hot line "info santé" here in Montreal and the nurse asked me two things:
1- have a had intercourse in the last 3 days?
2- did I do some heavy lifting?

The nurse said that it is normal to spot red or brown the first 3 months and pregnancy especially if I had intercourse or did some heavy lifting. Unless you have heavy bleeding ( ex: you fill a pad in an hour) and/or you have major cramp than everything is normal and you have nothing to worry about.

During every one of my pregnancies I bled. A slight pink stain may be normal but you should still be sure to mention it first thing when you see your doc. Mine indicated preclampsia which is a situation when the sac is pulling away from the uterin wall thus causing bleeding. I was put on bed rest which was perfectly fine with me. It doesn't necessarily indicate anything bad with the baby, so don't stress until they test. Good luck to you.

I always get dizziness along with Nausea when Im pregnant. So being dizzy is normal. Also when I was pregnant with my 3rd son I bled at 7 weeks and it was red and more than wipe and everything was perfectly fine. Try not to worry

Not good. Might be just coming from the outside of the cervix, like stretching, or if you had intercourse.
Do you have lower back pain or cramping? Could you have a urinary tract infection?
You should definately call and tell the doctor, he may want you to come in early for a vaginal exam or ultrasound.

Probably nothing to be worried about. Sometimes your cervix can bleed if it is "friable" meaning sensitive and easily bleeds. It's closing or closed by now so there may be a little light bleeding.

Ask your doctor when you go back. If you have bright red continuously call them immediately. Other than that, I would not worry.

I had slight bleeding throughout my pregnancy and everything turned out fine. Call your doc in the morning and at least leave a message. She will want to check things out, maybe even before wed.

it is possible to bleed during pregnancy especally if it is around that time that you used to have your peiod. But it can also be a sign of miscarriage. You can call your OB and tell them what is happening and if you are really concerned i would take the next available appt. for tomorrow. I hope its nothing serious. Good Luck
