Heat on if it's cold outside ?

I had a boyfriend who refused to because he didn't wanna pay the heat bill !

YEAH BUT WHEN WE LEAVE THE HOUSE WE TURN IT OFF AND WHEN WE COME BACK WE TURN IT ON BECAUSE THERE IS NO POINT HEATING A HOUSE WITHOUT ANYONE IN IT

hah...yes! my sister's hubby wears big sweaters around the house and always wants it 68 or lower...but she and the girls need at least 70 to be comfy...he wants to save on the bill..I have a little space heater in my room for if I'm cold...I can just turn it on for a while and make it toasty regardless of what the rest of the house feels like.! you have to be warm to be comfortable, otherwise you wanna just curl up on the couch under a fuzzy blanket!~ heat is good.

My house stays at around 60 degrees in the winter...I refuse to put it any higher than this. It's not just because of the gas bill, I just do not like to be warm/hot. I like cool/cold where ever I am.

Not necessarily when it's cold outside, but I do once it gets cold in the house. Just warm enough to be comfortable in a sweatshirt though. That's a very important fuel we're burning up faster than we know.

Yes but it is still low. Your ex BF should look into a woodstove to help with the heat. A good one can heat a whole floor.

Yes, because it would get pretty cold inside. Even though this place is fairly well insulated, the heat still leaks out.

Yes, uh huh. In the winter, I bundle up when I'm inside and wear a sweater, a hoodie, and maybe another sweater or two. Or just drape the comforter around me.
