You probably want to buy a solution. Be careful when you handle it: it is one of the most corrosive compound !
In an oven you could melt and get true liquid NaOH at high temperature: the problem will be to find a suitable container!
Anyway do not handle such a substance without knowing what you are doing and without advices from a professionnal.

Well, you could melt solid NaOH, but since it needs to be heated over 300 degrees °C , so I'd doubt you can *buy* it.

Caustic soda it itself (NaOH) is cheap though

Are you sure you need *liquid* NaOH and not a solution?

NaOH is extreemly soluble in water. If a pellet gets left out it will collect water all around it. But it is not water but very concentrated lye. Yes it can be melted at 300 degrees, but the dissolved form is very caustic. It is available as lye or Draino

That's one of the bi-products when Na+Cl- Dissociates in water. the other biproduct is HClO2 (or 3). Both remain in the solution, ina liquid form, I THINK if I remember right!
