Britney was referred to as the new Madonna when she first started. To me she was nothing like her, but I feel like it pinned a high expectation on her. Now that Britneys true colors are unfolding she has lost alot of my respect. She is a drug addict and she seems like she is missing links I never thought she was. She had so much going for her.

Doubt it - there was a slot of time right after the divorce where she had a chance to really prove herself to the fans and media, to really show what she would do with her newfound independence...instead of showing us how hard she is working to make new, good music....all we got was pictures of her without underwear partying with good influences Lindsay Lohan and Paris. That slot of time is gone. The damage is done. She doesnt look like she is going to get serious about her career anytime soon and the fans have lost faith, I believe one of her biggest fansites "World of Britney" got closed down recently because of her change in behavior and where her hard-partying life is taking her - to the dumpster!

She will never make a comeback. She ruined her life with sex, a worthless husband, and drugs, and you know what? She's paying the price. I think her younger sister has a way better chance. Jamie Lynn is very pretty and talented. I just hope she doesn't grow up to be like her sister!!!!

She'll have a difficult time presenting a worthwhile image after the "Federline drama".
You can't help but feel sorry for her. She's been in the public eye since she was a little kid (Mickey Mouse Club)
Seems to most people that she'd want normalcy for herself & her 2 children....'retiring' might afford them a better chance at that.

she doesn't seem to be in the right state of mind. Her younger sister who has grown to be a beautiful young woman has a better chance at a comeback than she does. I hope she can make it but she needs to change alot of things!!!

nicely, she did come back with Blackout yet yeah, this comeback is definitely good. i got here across the music to be very addictive and catchy. i think of her new sound suits her completely and he or she'd be churning out greater hits!

nope, the new people in hollywood are tweens. like cole and dylan sprouse. miley cyrus, paris hilton... and im waiting for her album to come out. but i hope she doesnt make it big cause she destryoed it while she was still big
