Today's weed unless homegrown is not the weed of the 70's . My neighbor smokes it regularly on his back porch, and I yell over "hey I smell something" (it is a joke between us) Then he yells back " it sucks" I guess, according to him, that there is something wrong with it, either it was chemically treated or mixed with something else for volume so that the dealer can make more money off what he is selling.

I heard that the weed smoked now is a different variety than the stuff that folks smoked in the 1970's because the plants and the seeds of that variety were completely destroyed by the order of one of the presidents. The original stuff that the Viet Nam veterans and anyone else was smoking didn't smell bad at all. I remember many years ago a guy I knew had a couple plants in an obscure field somewhere that was unsprayed and totally organic. It just had a sweet, smoky smell to it. Not like today. I just want to grab some smokers on the street and dump tomato juice on them to get that skunk smell away from me. ewww...

There hundreds of different kinds of marijuana and each has its own aroma. Somebody just got some stuff that you don't think is so good.
