If you and your fiance both trust each other and always have good communication there should not be a problem . I had mostly all men friends when my guy and I started dating, he had all lady friends. We both now have many more friends, because we have always introduced each others friends . So I think its ok for your guy to go out to lunch with this other lady . Maybe you can have your guy suggest that she come over to your home for drinks or a BBQ sometime.............. she just might become your next good friend too .

It is possible that he can have a female friend, especially in a predominantly male environment. The danger is that she may turn it into an emotional affair. Since a determined woman is difficult to turn down, it could become a physical affair. Are any other people going out to lunch with them? If not, lunch for two is a little too chummy.

It's fine. My husband (to be) has a very close friend who is female and attractive to boot! It doesn't bother me one bit. I trust him. The only time it's a problem is if you're an insecure woman who's been watching Oprah too much and think that men and women can't be friends without the so called 'emotional affair' or if you are insecure and niave and have been watching Maury too much and think that men cannot control themselves around women because OMG SEX DRIVE! Oh Pleeease!

Do you trust him? I see nothing wrong with it. View it as having lunch with a colleague. You may still want to keep an eye on her though.

Depends on the background of the relationship (both the marriage stability and the relationship between the spouse and "friend")...but in general I would say it is OK.

Hard to say---why did she ask?
Is she afraid of eating alone?
Is she trying to "hook up"?
My best friend is a gay MAN--my hubby knows there's no issues if we have lunch.

What is the REAL issue here--trust?

as long as he was honest with you and told you that she invited him to lunch, he obviously isnt hiding anything from you- hence you have nothing to worry about. if he went out to lunch with her, and didnt tell you- thats a different story.
