Follow your gut and stay in school. Provide the world with your God given talent...not something we all can do. Also, aside from morality issues, illness, etc. - there's so much drug use in the porn industry - with all of the money people make they wind up selling drugs as well...how stupid is that. You're also possibly setting yourself up for abuse. And the $20,000. - You in particular will never be able to get any real satisfaction out of it because of all of the issues involved...that's why you posted your question. You will also have to engage in lying - you're not going to tell everyone what you do for a living. Not everyone operates with the same type of conscious and you have to realize that you and your friend are two different people. There will be no joy in any of the money you make from this business. She thinks she's getting the easy way out, but she's going to pay in the end.

Get your education - get new friends and don't be misguided by some silly bimbo talking thru her *ss.
She might be telling you this - but she clearly has no idea what she's talking about.
Getting into porn is not all - blond locks fancy lingerie and lipstick - no siree - its blood sweat and more often than not tears. You are not only baring body to be used in whatever way the director says - you are baring your soul. Once you loose you dignity and pride - its tough to get it back.
Take a stand and tell her to but out. Make something of yourself and make you and your family proud.
After all what would you like to see on your kids birth certificate as Mothers Occupation - Lawyer - Teacher etc - or Porn Actress.
Fathers Occupation - Doctor - Entrepenaur or Unknown.....

ok, so it is obvious she is making a huge dose of money, but just think- only one out of many get that far. look at actors, only a fraction of them become rich and famous. also- what will your friend do when she gets older and the porn industry doesnt want her anymore... where will she go then? busting your butt in college does suck, but it pays off soo well in the future. you will be almost guarenteed a secure job, and also have benefits when you retire- which the porn industry does not provide. also look at your morals

Um, NO!
You're making a smarter decision than her, and your maturity level look like 100 against 1.
When she's 50, is she going to be able to do porn?
No, but when you're 50, you're going to be able to still do what you're doing when you're 20.
Wouldn't you rather have options than just not know what you're going to do when the industry blows?
Right now, you're giving yourself options for jobs.
With your friend, she has NO idea (probably) what she's going to do when she can't do porn anymore.
Plus, you're just making a smarter decision with your life.

Educate yourself first. I doubt your friend is earning that much money a month. In 4 years a millionaire!!! Your degree will last a life time, your porn career will not.
Besides why rush? Its possible to do both, after college, during holidays etc.

No way. That's something that's going to stay with you the rest of your life. In the long run, do you want to meet the man of your dreams, and then have his father recognize you from a video he sees at some bachelor party or something? Or maybe your Dad finds out? Not worth it. Take the long way, and maintain your dignity.

NOOOO!!!
Stay in college!!! Money is easy to make depending on what you will do to get it. Stick at what you are doing and you will always be able to hold your head high!. You may not make that sort of money but you'll never be called a cheap and nasty **** either who has to cover up what they do for a living!
She may not feel the shame now, but she will....
Good Luck with the college course, it will be worth it!!
