No pink eye is a virus...you have a popped vein. It will clear in a few days.

you popped a vein all right. You will need to be seen immediately. It's your eye for hell's sake. Blood is NOT a good thing.

When you have pink eye, your eyes are red or pink and they have a discharge. After you sleep you have to wipe the discharge from your eyes in order to open them! The mucous builds up fast, and they sometimes itch.
