I have a question about scoring. Lets say the RB fumbles the ball and the QB picks it up. Does the QB get points for a Fumble Recovery? I've never seen it awarded in the past, but was confused reading yahoo's scoring guidelines which vaguely state that any player offensively or not can receive points for their actions. Would love some help on this, causing a stink in the championship game of our league.

Thanks

No, no one gets points for an offensive fumble recovery, nor do they lose points for a fumble that was recovered by their team. Hope that answered your question.

The reason the language was vague to you is that an offensive player can recover a fumble and earn points for doing so, but it is extremely rare. The situation has to begin with a turnover, either and INT or a fumble which then leads to another turnover, a fumble by a DEFENSIVE player which is recovered by an offensive player. This sort of double turnover does happen, and the recovering offensive player would earn the points.
In the case that you described, there was no fumble recovery at all, at least in technical terms. The QB merely prevented a turnover. Had a defensive player gotten possession, and then fumbled himself, the QB (or any other offensive player) could recover the fumble and get the points.

No. The only way that a QB could get points for a Fumble Recovery would be if, let's say that it's Ben Roethlisberger just because I think better with names. So Roethlisberger throws an interceptions to a DB, say Bob Sanders of the Colts. Beast OL Alan Faneca slams the heck out of Sanders and he fumbles the ball. If Roethlisberger recovers this fumble, then it the Colts are credited with an offensive play and a fumble, Faneca is credited with a tackle and a forced fumble, and Roethlisberger is credited with a Fumble Recovery.

If the RB fumbles the ball and the offense recovers it is never a fumble in Fantasy points. Only lost fumbles can cause a fumble recovery not fumbles that were picked up by the offense. Only Def recovers fumbles for points in Fantasy.

no points will be awarded or taken away from the qb and rb, if the fumble is recovered by the same team, no points are deducted form the rb, and no one just points for recoving a fumble, except for the defense.

Please. all of us is conscious that Eric Reid is going to be DPOY with a hundred and fifty tackles, 24 forced fumbles, 80 5 passes defended, and 34 Interceptions, all which would be returned for touchdowns.
