Yes, I have & I personally enjoy having such a contrast in my life. The diversity of my friends helps me to keep an open mind about many things & they help me remember that there are many more sides to any issue than what might be readily apparent at first glance.
It's easy to compare & there is no reason not to because that's how you make decisions for yourself as to where you stand or how you feel about different topics. That's human nature in action.
