Such situations are not 'public record' as would be expected to be found in city, county, or state records. However, if the property is listed with a real estate agency, it will probably appear on a real estate website as well as in the area MLS. You can search your area MLS (if available) to see if and when the property appears listed for sale. Do not assume that your landlord will give you a thirty day notice to leave when the property is listed for sale. Depending on the type of property involved, he may well want to sell the property with an active and viable tenant in place.

... conductivity, permittivity, permeability, plasma frequency, curie temperature, debye temperature, conduction type (electron or hole) etc....
You can pretty much come up with as many different properties of a substance as you care to think of. (By the way... I think you really mean the properties of a substance.... matter, in the general sense, really only has one property: mass.)
Some properties are very fundamental (say, the atomic weight), while others are decidedly less so (texture....?).

Density is not a property of matter. Density is mass divided by volume. Mass is a property of matter.
