Yeah, but let them drink and smoke like they did in the 70's! American Idol isn't even close to the Gong show!

Yeah, I remember 'The Gong Show'..with Chuck Barris. Kind of a 70's version of 'American Idol' try-outs.
Makes me feel a bit older thinking about actually watching it...on what was probably our family's 1st color TV set!
It would be neat to see it..and a few other 'old shows' return. :)

Yes I remember it & no they shouldn't reintroduce it. There are enough stupid shows on now without bringing back an old one!!!

If Chuck Barris or someone equally as twisted will be the emcee. He made the show even funnier.

Oh yea, bring it back. And as someone already said they need someone as twisted as Chuck Berris to host it.

Yes it was one of the funniest shows on TV. Especially when the guest judges would crack up at how bad the contestants were.
