The front passenger power window does not work. Neither the switch on the drivers door or front passenger door will allow the window to go down. Does anyone know why?

If it doesn't work from either side, its possibly the motor in the right door.If it was the switch one or the other should operate,so its the motor that is bad

I have a 98 T&C. In mine I just replaced the drivers side switch. First, check the fuses and make sure they are OK. If they are OK, then see if pressing the drivers side switch you can hear any noise, if you try to lower the drivers then the passengers side window. Then try to lower the passenger sides window with the passenger side switch, and do you hear any noise. . Basically, if the motor works, you may have a bad gear or window regulator. Too long to explain, but if you know how to check continuity you can check the motor out. You have to be mechanically inclined to check if the motor or window regulator is bad.

Since it does not work with either switch, chances are the window regulator is bad. We do sell a few of these because it is a common problem. You can replace just the motor but, it would be best to replace the assembly because it is a major pain to replace just the motor. Labor is cheaper also. But, an easy test is to put your head against the interior trim panel and have a helper flip both the drivers and pass anger switch. Listen for a whine noise, if you don't hear it, it's the motor.

What you want to do is get into the door hollow area to envision out what may be happening in there. once you eliminate the interior trim panel seem for issues that would nicely be binding the window from shifting. also, seem for wiring connectors that would have come undone.
