Doesn't make sense to send the evidence of one of the greatest crimes in history to a foreign country.

Had it been sitting around, the clean edges where explosives cut the beams would have been obvious. It also would have allowed chemical tests to find explosive residue on the beams.

It would also have allowed testing on the beams which would have shown that they could not possibly have been destroyed by a jet fuel fire.

Isn't it interesting that the collapse cut the beams into pieces that were the exact size of the flatbed trucks that hauled them out?

I don't know anything about it being sent overseas. I do know it is being used in a new Navy ship called the USS New York. The hull is already built, but won't be commissioned for a couple of years. Of all the steel in the ship, something like 80% came from the towers.

The majority of it went to build the USS New York a guided missle cruiser. On the show alot of it was loaded onto a foreign ship but I don't know if it was taking it overseas.

It wasn't. Every last scrap was tested by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and when they were done with their findings and recommendations, the steel was recycled, recast and made into a warship for the United States Navy.

In light of the fact that is was shipped immediately after 9/11 and before it could be inspected and tested, I would like to know that answer myself. Very odd indeed.

First, all crime scene protocol was broken in NYC & at the Pentagon. In my opinion, to get rid of inconvenient evidence.
