Mines cheeks are swelled up and it looks like he is stashing food in them but i am jus checking to see if this is normal. Is it??

i've never heard of this, i have two for 7 years now and mine never did this, could be infection or something. try your nearest pet store, ask them, or research on line.

No, it's not normal!! Sounds like inner ear infection/abcess. Your turtle needs to be seen by a vet ASAP! Good luck!

It is probably the ears that are swollen. This is a common problem that is an infection that generally needs a quick trip to a vet.

A friend of mine has a turtle farm and sells red ear sliders,stripes,snappers,and hackle back babies i'll be glad to ask him and will try to get back to you,i'm sure he knows..He has 80,000 red ear,15000 snappers,8ooo hackle backs,and 5,000 stripes,,,quite a collection,but its a big business too.
