He's a senator..He reports to the voters of his state, which I think is Florida....His duties are to help vote for against the bills that come up on the senate floor. He also is a member of some the most important commitees in the senate, including Armed Services, Budget and Foreign Relations. These committees vote up and down on whether certain legislation actually makes it to the Senate floor to be voted on by the entire 100 Senators..
also goto his website for more info: http://billnelson.senate.gov/
good luck

He's a Florida Senator. He reports to the voters in his Congressional District, and does not have a direct supervisor. His duties include representing the State of Florida voters in the United States Senate, including proposing new legislation, arguing for or against existing legislation, and voting for legislation that is pending approval. (Legislation = written laws, FYI).
Look up United States Senate on wikipedia for more info.
