He's my best friend, and i like him, but i don't want it to ruin our relationship together as friends. What do I do??

Let things develop naturally. The last thing you would want is to ruin that friendship. If its meant to happen then its meant to happen.

I've been married to my best friend for 28 years, but we were friends for nearly ten years before we decided we wanted to share our lives together..
Be patient, let him know how you feel (gently), see how he feels...love of any sort takes time to bloom, if it's going to.
Treasure your friendship in the meantime, and let it grow too.
