Based on statistic...foreign made vehicles are more reliable and last longer then American made cars.......I'm not saying that there aren't trucks out there that are American made that have been beauties from the start and run great.......but I'm just saying that's the facts.....and I was wondering what trucks out there are the most reliable to buy?

Probably Toyota, Ford, Nissan . . . in no particular order. This is what I hear from others, and I've had a couple of Dodge trucks, a Chevy and a Ford, and my experience, too, bears this out. At the same time, however, I think you'll find that all cars today . . . and trucks . . . are pretty reliable if given even the most minimal care, such as change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles or so.

It depends upon which years you are looking at. I would suggest a subscription to www.consumerrepors.com or visiting msn.com/autos. Toyota has historically beat out most of the others in the trucks category. Make sure that you don't buy a first year vehicle. Typically they have more problems than later versions that have had their kinks worked out.

all cars are about equal these days all will run 150,000 miles with no major problems. GM trucks and Ford will have more power and price negotiation and Toyota will have less power and Steep MSRP pricing only.
