Did you have a lot of further complications? Was it a planed pregnancy, and if it was, was it harder for you to conceive? I am thinking of having this proceedure done, but because I don't have any kids, I'm a little hesitent
I'm looking for people with personal experience with Lap-Band, not for negitive remarks about the surgery. Thank you.

It shouldn't affect a pregnancy although if you had it, you may have to have the fluid removed from your band so you can eat normally during your pregnancy. There are many lap-band groups on yahoo - I am sure you can find someone on one of those boards who had a child after surgery. Sometime losing weight can actually improve your chances of getting pregnant.

I have researched lap band surgery lately too and am thinking about having it done in the future. However, for me it is opposite. I have a daughter (10 months old) and am expecting my second (boy in May 07). Anyhow I plan to have it done after this pregnancy as we now have a complete family and don't want anymore children. Since you haven't had children yet, then I would certainly think about it because I have read that it is best not to do it if you may decide to become pregnant in the future. But this is completely up to you. If you are unsure about it then it is probably best to wait and see. Best of luck to you.
