It's more like 7, and it's on average. You have the really perverted guys (which constitutes a large majority of us, but not me thank god) bringing down the average always thinking about it, but you also do have guys like me who almost never think about sex and for whom its not a very big deal. It really depends on the guy, you'll know who think a lot about sex and who dont.

What really happens is that someone says or types that every 7 seconds and guys can't help but think about sex because they just read or heard the word. Not really fair, but that's the way life works.

It's true; and woman every 4 seconds, so men are more obsessed than woman about sex!

I think that's one of those averages like the average family has 2.2 children. I sometimes go six or seven seconds without thinking of sex at all, but other times, I spend zero seconds between thoughts about sex .
I'd say more, but I just thought of something and I have to go now.

Here's a test, sit in a corner for 10 minutes, and DON'T think of a Polar Bear.
Chances are, you'll be thinking of a Polar bear every 3 seconds, ie. "I mustn't think of a... oh damn".
It's the same when you ask ANYONE how often they think about sex. Awareness of the question skews the results.

The male mind does think about sex, well alot, but that is untrue about every three seconds, I know of plenty of guys who are not thinking about sex every three seconds, its just a commen misconception.

I thought it was 7 seconds. I guee if you're 13 it's every second and if you 63 it's every 10 minutes.
