They eat mice-baby corns eat pinkies (newborn mice) and as they grow they eat fuzzies, then hoppers, then adult mice.
It is best to feed your corn snaake frozen thawed mice rather than live-live mice can hurt your snake.

in captivity a corn snake is mainly fed on mice. in the wild they will eat lizards. if a corn snake refuses mice and you can't make him/her eat them then you can try anole lizards. they can't eat bugs. if you are a beginner then i do recommended corn snake as they are a very easy snake to care for.please don't be putoff by their diet.i hope my info has come in handy!

Its most likely they won't eat bugs. If you are planning on getting a cornsnake and want to feed it bugs, I would suggest not getting one. They eat mice. Smaller ones eat pinkies. Its also good for them to eat pre-killed mice so they don't get hurt.

Garder snakes feed upon earthworms, frogs, fish, and occasionally mice
Rough Green Snakes eats grasshoppers, caterpillars, and spiders
Black Racers large bugs, frogs, lizards, mice, and birds
Banded Water Snakes eat frogs, tadpoles, and fish
Northern Water Snake small fish, frogs, worms, leeches, crayfish, salamanders, young turtles, and small birds and mammals...
just to name a few .. that doesn't just eat rodents....

No, they eat baby mice called "pinkies". why didn't you research this before you got a pet? Also, you need to make sure you have the proper basking equipment so that they can digest their food. Please do some more research, sounds like you need it!

They will eat bugs, especially when they are small. Crickets and mealworms are the easiest to get. As they get bigger they eat mice.
