Pack a couple of trashbags for wet/sandy/dirty clothes.
Small "first aid" kit with couple of bandages, asprin, diareaha medicine (pepto comes in pill form - You may be trying new foods which might not agree with you - you don't wanna have to go find them...) Baby cream might be a good idea for chaffing - you will likely spend time in the water and wet clothes which may cause chaffing.
Don't forget any chargers you might need, although I really dont' know about cell coverage there (check that out...)

I went to Jamaica in 05.When you go shopping take cash but only pull out small amounts when you buy anything.If you go to a bazaar of makeshift shops don't go in if you don't have to.most are so small you can see everything from outside most have the same thing just different colors.But once you step inside of one you got to go in all of them the people there can get nasty and say don't disrespect me you went in there shop now come into mine.These places-es are where you can wheel and deal never pay full price for anything that's where the small amounts of cash come into play.Tell them you only have X amount of dollars and stick with it.

a paper copy of your passport. also leave a paper copy with a relative. this speeds things up if you should lose the real passport. travelers checks instead of cash. sunscreen. a camera. business cards to hand out to cute guys. a hat or visor. and a small medical kit that includes advil, bandaids, pepto etc. you'll pay a fortune for these items if you need them and buy them there.

I would take some sunscreen cause the price for it there is rediculous and pack some light clothing and some condoms what happens in Jamaca stays in Jamaca. Take some pills for your stomach. Pack light.

An umbrella, I was warned to bring one, and I thought, "I won't need that." How wrong I was, it rained the entire time. We went in December.
