She used to look really trashy to me, but I saw her on the Dick Clark New Year's thingy and she looked really classy and I loved that song she sang.

like her music just fine..very talented lady..i don't mix up what is done to sell records with the actual human being so i take her so called "reputation" with a large grain of salt

I think she has one of the most beautiful voices of our current times (if not the best voice), I do think that she dosen't get the credit for her talent that she deserves.
