NKF (National Kidney Foundation) is a non-profitable organisation in Singapore. NKF is not supposed to earn a single cent out of this kind of non-beneficiary means.

The scandal all begins with XXX misusing the money from the funds raising of the non-profitable organisation and every year, many Singaporeans or almost the whole nation donated a HUGE sum of money to the needy and unfortunate patients who suffer from terrible kidney failures. Thus, when the scandal was exposed, many Singaporeans stopped donating or donate not as much as before, worrying the same history will ever repeat again.

NKF is a nonprofit organization, and it was found out that some of the organization were using the donations for themselves. Or something to that extent, I think. Go look it up on Wikipedia.
