It doesn't bother me.
I do think it funny how liberals will run away from that term when running for president.

My favorite hypoctircal move the liberals do is bash Bush for not being drafted but love Clinton who did the same thing and did like Bush Sr. or Dole both real combat vets.

I'm sick of "free thinking" liberals being so closed minded that they think if a person doesn't agree with them on any given topic, that person has no right to speak. They go to college graduations and drown out the speaker because they don't want anyone to hear what he/she has to say. Liberals only believe in free speech for liberals.

Lets see I have been called irrational, racist , hatemonger , a Nazi , narrowminded , pathetic - there are more . How do I feel?
I usually just let things roll unless I'm really tired then being human I snipe and leave for a while.......

As a veteran it warms my heart to know these people have freedom of speech. Just wish they would respect my rights. I don't ask anyone to change their opinion - just give everyone some respect.

human beings can call themselves inspite of they prefer. I call myself a liberal. I easily haven't any challenge with being noted as a imaginitive because I evaluate that a very complimentary time period. i'm an organization recommend of human being rights and that i note of that we stay in an area and ought to perform mutually as a thanks to prevail. I also note of our collective duty to assist one yet another which in turns reward the full community. i'm not particular how those perspectives fit interior the prevalent philosophy of communitarianism. i do not agree along with your diagnosis that Hitler might want to fit into both the left or good. the easy philosophies of left and massive decision sufficient in needed parts alongside with the classic treatment of the rights of minorities, perspectives related to blending faith and authorities, the impact of massive company entities and how they must be known on the challenge of the rights and protection of workers, etc. those massive difference are obvious depending on the moves of both aspect when they're in skill.

First of all, progressive is subjective. It is pathetic how people like this assume that they are the true moral authority in society.

I cannot give a lick what anyone says about me. I know what I stand for and no one will dissuade me of that.

You mean like "compassionate conservatism"? I'm not sure what terms you're referring to.

Progressive liberals are about pragmaticism and not about specific ideology or so called 'dogma.'

I could care less, and that does not make me conservative or Liberal. What liberals says means nothing, as that is what they have between their ears, nothing.
