Definitely contact OSHA, you can file a complaint online:

http://www.osha.gov/as/opa/worker/complain.html

I would also think that anything involving sewage (esp. in a doctor's office) would certainly be of interest to your local health department!

Also contact your state labor department. It used to be against federal labor laws to keep workers from taking lunch break; however, according to the current Code of Federal Regulations there is no requirement. However, your state may have a meal break requirement, I would check the website for the Dept. of Labor for your state.

I previously made a claim against an employer for not paying me for my break time (which is required by federal law). That was a few years ago, though. Employers are not required to offer break time, but if they do they must pay you for it.

Keep in mind that any government agency runs about as slow as molasses - so if you're looking for immediate action you may not get it. But contacting OSHA is *definitely* a good step.

Contact OSHA and the Health Department. This isn't a Department of Labor issue.

tell the owner and/or sources supervisor to scrub it up or you like out of the hire. Take photos and record each thing. in the event that they don't need, then touch the community housing authority.
