I am replacing a crummy Compaq for my mom that was not very good. I want a fast computer with good video card and can handle a lot of gaming and internet. Will not be used for work. Only play. Keywords are: Fast, inexpensive and not a piece of &@%$.
I only want the pc tower itself, so no bundles or set ups needed.

The last one (Compaq) was built from the ground up as are a lot of mine but I'd rather simply buy a new one for her as she has never had a new computer.

Best bang for buck is building it yourself. Other than that, choose a computer that doesn't have graphics done by Intel. If your gaming, Intel graphics is a HUGE NO-NO. Also, look into the computers with core 2 duo, that is another good thing. At least 1 gb ram, and 80 gb harddisk, because its not a laptop.
