Please darlings, tell me - how do you turn a photo pasted into a Word document into a jpeg which can then be used in applications like msn, etc etc? Thank you so much lovely people.

Right click on the photo in Word. Copy it. Open up paint and paste it in there. Then, do a "save as" and make sure you specify the file type as "JPEG"

I'm assuming you've copied this photo from the internet. So, in order to do this, instead of pasting the photo into Word, just open a folder you want to store the photo in, and right click; then, when the menu pops up, select "paste". The copied photo should appear in the folder. You can then convert the file to a ,jpeg (if it isn't one already) with the image file converter found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/imgbconvert/

You need to open it in a graphics editing program and then save it as a jpeg.
Click on the photo so it is selected, then hold CTRL and hit C, to copy the photo.
Open up your paint program, eg: start > run > mspaint
Paste the photo in (CTRL+V). Now go to File > Save as.. and at the bottom where it says Save as type: save it as JPG (or JPEG, same thing).

highlight the picture then copy it and paste it into your pictures etc.... then use it as a normal picture. this works on the assumption that you are on word etc... and not on a scanned document
