1] I suspect an injury in my left leg. I can't split it squared now. The part connected to my pelvis joint hurts alot when I do.

2] My knees are obviously hyperextended. This helps in oversplits, especially for my right leg. But my right leg is way too flexible compared to my left leg. I don't want to be one-sided.

3] My center splits are very far off from 180deg. I know this depends on your body structure. My hips can't turn out well. I am as flat as possible now, but I'd like my legs to open more towards a 180deg.

Can anyone help me and advise me what to do? Thanks!

First of all, make sure you don't hurt your leg more. Before you try again you might want to get it checked and just let the leg rest. I have gotten that injury too. It is from over stretching. So be careful.

Second, stretch your left leg twice as much as your right leg to make it more flexible.

Third, for the center splits the stretch I think helps me the most is the gravity stretch. To do this you need to find an open wall. Lay on your back and put your butt so it is touching the wall. Your legs should be straight in the air leaning against the wall. Open your legs into center splits and just sit there like that and let gravity take over. While you wait you can read a book, watch television, listen to music, etc.

Fourth, You want to stretch first to make sure you don't get another injury.

1) First things first; if you're hurt then stop doing the splits for a bit. You'll only injure yourself further if you continue to keep trying.

2) Don't worry about being one-sided. Most people are more flexible with one side rather than the other. Just keep working on the not-so-flexible side and it'll eventually come around.

3) The thing that I found most helpful for doing the splits 180 degrees is weird-sounding, but it works due to gravity. Lay on your back with your butt up against a wall and let your legs hang down in the splits. It'll hurt for a bit, but it lets gravity take control of the stretch and works like a charm.

Good luck!

talk to your doctor on your injury if you have an injury do not contunie on doing splits. If your right leg is more flexible stretch your left leg more. and just keep on working on your center split. IDEA: go up against a wall and push your self to it. hold it and release keep doing this everyday push further and hold longer

first make sure if you are injured... if you don't things can get worse and you can probably never do splits anymore.... chack to make sure before you try anything dangerous..

if you want to try it anyways then do a little at a time every day pushing yourself just a littlbe after the twinge and you'll become more flexible.....it's not an over night process and you need to be consistent
