What do babies see at the age of 7 weeks? I am just curious.
Can you believe that my 7 week old little girl Cassidy can lift her head up into a 45 degree angle and she can stand?
She is soooo advanced....do you think she will be a smart baby?
and she can say HI too!

at 7 weeks baby sees mostly blurry vision and is more attracted to black/white contrast colors. She'll notice faces the most, but hasn't started to pay attention to details (such as glasses, mustaches) yet.

I agree with navyprincess, Babies can't really see much, most of it is a blur there line of site is about how far the mothers face is from the baby when your feeding them.
Everyone would like to think there baby is more advanced than others , but that just puts more pressure on them, something I am not willing to do with my children,
if you are making your baby stand up you could really be messing up her bones /hips/back
not to mention her arches knees and posture
her bones are way too soft to be trying to stand she will most likely be bow legged and need braces if you continue to have her stand
unless of course you are talking about when you pull her up and she can "linger" tills she falls, and lets talk about when you do hold her upright she is not trying to walk either, it is called a stepping reflex it gets them ready to try to walk

Usually before 3mths they can only see about 18 inches in front of them...everything else is blurry.
If you mean she can 'stand' by that she stiffens her legs and 'stands' when you hold her...that is normal for all babies...my daughter is 8 weeks and has been doing that for about 5 weeks now.
And shes deffinatly not talking....she's cooing and that can sound like words...but its not. Not to rain on your parade but she's not advanced...shes normal...all babies do that stuff.

All babies progress at differnt times, but at 7 weeks they are still seeing shadow like things, but they can distinquise shadow features of people they are familar with.
