I've recently come out of the clausit. Eight months ago a guy i knew for practically all my life came out of the clausit too and i have always felt something special for him. When i came back from Uk as i was studying i went to a family xmas party and he was there with his boyfriend. I couldnt stop staring at him and he couldnt stop staring at me. To cut the story short we got together that night and it was the most magical night ever we told eachother our feelings and we were basically in love with eachother as apparently he has always felt the same way i did towards him. A week after that i text him to see what was going to happen and he told me that he has decided to stay with his current boyfriend as they have just bought a house. I am really heart broken and all i can think off is him !!!

Well to be honest if deep down he likes you more than his current boyfriend then it really is his loss for not having the guts to be with you. However you dont know how into his boyfriend he is as well. So although he let out these pent out feelings to you, he may have done it unfairly. So just focus on that i guess, something to make you a lil pissed off???

I know where your coming from having recentely split with my ex. We had a spiritual almost transcendental connection that ive never felt with someone else and he got me better than anyone else (well maybe except for my brother). However we clashed as a couple and there wer some things i could live like his vvvchildish/slightly malicious streak when he feels hurt. There was also this other guy i really liked a while ago and he is in Italy and circumstances got in the way and he was perfect for me!!!
What im trying to say is that it hurts it happens, but one day something right will come along that is right in timing and it WILL be right and it WILL make you happy!!!
Till then go out as much as possible to get your mind off it, remind yourself why it cant work all the time, confide in friends get it off your chest, cry if necessary.. be overdramatic if u like get it off your chest with ice cream... you always feel better after a good cry!!!
It sounds cliche but you need lots and lots of time... and to cut contact with him so that you can properly get over it and if you still feel you need closure send him a text saying yeh i did love you but im moving on have to hope you have a nice life etc wish you could have told me it couldnt work earlier maybe but good luck blah blah...
Its hard but try to let go of it as much as possible!!!

hey ... im really sorry for you ...
i think the there are few things that could make you feel better ...
or at least this is what i learned when i my ex dumped me ...
first of ... you met him with another guy that means her prefer someone over you that is enough reason to stop loving him but still wont stop make you feel sad ... here is your inside battle you gotta convence your self "if he doesn't love me anymore why i should love him" you were in love because of the feelings you exchange from each others ... now it's a one side story ...
right now you might think that youll never love anyone the way you loved him but this feeling will soon disapear my advice start dating again ... you might find the right guy ... plus make a couple of dates for sex only not for relationships ... sex might let your heart beat away from the breake up ...

Look, people dont normally tend to think that same sex couples cant feel the same thing like heterosexual couples. I cant exactly say how you should feel, but let me say this, love hurts, and it will allways hurt at some point in time, and there will be times when you will want to blame yourself and think its your fault that a guy doesnt like you, dont, it was his choice, and he has lost, he gave up someone who wouldve cared for him the rest of his life, but threw it out the window, time will heal, but dont worry, you will find that special one. Just keep your head up!

One-night stands (which is what it was) do not usually translate into relationships. Sorry.
Keep an eye out for other guys, one will come along, and until then, time might not make us forget but it can lessen the intensity (and pain) of a memory.

Don't dwell. Be active. Get other dates, go to the movies, go to the bookstore, etc. Plus you're probably lucky it was only one night cause he doesn't sound like a real truthful dude.

A heart mends over time, as much as I hated to hear that when my heart was broken. KEEP BUSY!! That's the best tip I can give you.
