I've always hated Mondays, but I never minded school. Now that I'm a freshman, I hate it. It's horrible. I just feel so grouchy right now, because it's Sunday night, and I don't want to go to school. Can anyone give me some advice on how to deal with it, and how to enjoy school, and not spend my Sundays dreading my Mondays?? I really need help, I just don't want to go!

Look at it this way... After Monday there's only four more days to go, four more days until you get to the weekend again.

Consider getting involved in some groups and activities so you have something to look forward to. This will also help you make some friends, which will help you look forward to school more.

If you're old enough, think about getting a part time job, or volunteering somewhere, like a soup kitchen. If you're busy and focusing on helping other people you won't have as much time to sit around and dread Monday.

Create a Sunday ritual. Maybe pamper yourself with a long bath, do something special with your hair, paint your nails, etc. so that you feel good about yourself and ready to take on the world.

If you really hate going to school so much look into taking online classes, adult ed, and summer school in addition to your regular schedule. You may be able to graduate early, which will cut your time in school. This option isn't for everyone, and each school/district has their own rules about these options, so talk to your guidance counselor and parents about them first.

Good luck!

Well, try try getting some reading done on Sunday (there's nothing better to do anyways) and going to bed on Sunday at a reasonable time, get up early on Monday, jack off (if you have enjoy that), get some excercise (jog a little or something) and you might feel better. Part of the reason why people hate Mondays is because they procrastinate on their assignments or readings since they have Saturday and Sunday and they know that there'll be consequences on Monday. So, try to read, study a little everyday even Saturday's and Sundays and also, getting enough rest and getting up early also feels good. It's fun going to school when you've done your readings and haven't procrastinated.

Are you having problems at school? Maybe there's a reason why you hate it so much. Maybe you could try getting involved in some extracurricular sports - I did cross-country and dance team and it ended up being really fun and a really good way to meet people. It also looks great on your resume when you start applying to college.
If you're seriously getting depressed or really dreading going to school, maybe you should talk to your guidance counselor or your parents to get to the core of your problem.
Good luck!

(and PS. I hated school too - it's one of those things you just have to get through)

just look forward to hump days. we always skipped skool on Wednesday's to drink beer, and watch porn. it was great. Monday's will always be a fact of life, no matter where you are at.... they will always suck, be the longest day of the week, and also make us hate waking up on that day. get over it, face up to the facts, and do what needs to be done. bottom line, we all have to live in this society, and i feel we all should do our parts in life.... school isn't that bad... and even though it takes like forever for classes to finally end, you will wished you were back there, not having to worry about growing up anymore than you have to. have fun in school, it won't be around forever... and hang on to your good friends. they will be lost in the transition. have a blast, and best of luck to ya.
