believe it or not...guys are just as shy as girls are. i didnt believe it either! haha but i have a lot of guy friends..theyre like...i dont know how to do it! its great to hear a guy say theyre afraid to..that means the guy really likes the girl if he cant just up and ask her out. you know?...sometimes the guys want to know..why cant a girl do the same...

There shy! There arfaid they will get turned down, and un-like girls, his friends wont be very nice about it. If they just told you that they liked you it would tottaly embarres them and beleive it or not boys are shy to, they might act like they dont care but inside there just as scared as rejection as you are. And yea it has to do with popularity somtime. If he was really popular being turned down by a girl would make him less popular and he wouldnt want that to happen. Boys can be very confusing and also very shy. The best way to make a guy less shy is not be shy around him, then he knows he dosent have to be shy around you and maybe he will change. Good luck!

Shyness and fear of rejection is the most likely reason. Even a hunk or the most popular boy in school can have difficulty confronting a girl he really likes, although such guys would most probably have more confidence in dealing with girls than the school geek.

well there can be two reason either they r too shy to do so OR they r really big headed and egoistic and want the girl to tell them first
