I just got new set of dishes & have 3 beautiful mugs that daughter brought from travels. I really dont want to throw them away, I'm already using one for pens...I also do not have any storage space...

Well, as for plants, with no drainage holes, mant species dont care for soggy soil. You could grow some lucky bamboo in them, that is of course, if the bamboo blends well the muds art design. USing a drill to make a drainage hole would more than liekly crack/brake it.

fake flowers and greenery would work well, especially if you bought the realistic kind. Thats more pricey though, at least at jo ann fabrics it is.

you could use one as a change holder?

They make wonderful pots to give to someone. Just add some gravel in bottom, some dirt, and a pretty, small flower, such as an african violet. Get some cellophane at a dollar store, some ribbon, and viola, a lovely gift. Give to a good neighbor, someone who is not feeling well, or just to a friend because you care.

put hard candy in it
make it a planter
make a book shelf and put all the ones you get from people as gifts on it so they can see you like them
use it for beer or mixed drinks
