no - eggs are matured in the ovary - they're conceived in the fallopian tubes, they become babies in the uterus.



edited to add - while I know ectopic pregnancies do occur - very frequently in fact - they NEVER develop IN the ovary. That's all I meant.

A pregnancy in the fallopian tubes or ovaries is called an ectopic pregnancy, and it's very harmful to the mother and can cause death of the embryo/fetus as well as the mother herself. It is possible, but definitely not a good thing.

Ifyou mean if you have only one ovary, as long as it's a healthy ovary, yes. If you mean the baby growing in the ovary, I don't know.but there has been cases of tubal pregnancy, which is life-threatening to the mother.
