Well depending on your age (8-15) probably. Your first time can always be irregular and may last only a few short days. Some girls only get it for 3 days, which is nice. just remember if this was your first, count the first day you got it, twenty eight days lator your next may or may not happen.

Periods can last 2-10 days. This is proabablly your first. Congrats! And btw, your period isnt only blood, its other fluids.

Yes, first periods only last 3 to 5 days. Mine goes for 4 days.
Also how to avoid missing it the next time is, when you're really feeling grumpy for no reason, and when there is whiteish yellowish clearish gush on your underwear, and you get stomach cramps time to time, that means your period is coming the apporaching week. I know it's really gross but...it's important.

Yup definatly bleeding for 3 days is a normal period congrats!

Yeah, that sure sounds like it. It can vary in length from a couple of days to a 5 days. Mine is 3 days, too.

Yea, i'm 16 and mine are still only 3 days long. It's normal, sometimes they may be longer than that though. Congratz!!

Well, i am ussuming you mean blood in your underwear...then it was probably your first period. Just check with my mom or someone older. If it wasn't...then go see a doctor ASAP!
