itsnt it funny how Chuck M put words in my mouth by claiming that i might take LSD? just because i want knowledge on the subject (something you obviously dont have on these types of things) does not mean im gonna do it.

Its pretty much 50/50 as stated above. But its also based on several different things such as: Set Setting And whether you have any mental issues/hidden feelings. Which are bound to come out during the trip.. at some point depending on if you let it. I've only had a bad trip onetime where my emotions (sad, happy, angry, shy etc) were portrayed through my friends, whatever emotion i thought would be reflected in 1 of them.. pretty uncomfortable. From personal experience there's a higher chance of a bad trip occurring if there's no constant music.. because your mind tends too wonder/think a whole lot more, whereas with music its attuned too the audio waves.

I don't think any one person can answer that question correctly. I believe this because what you experience during the effects of LSD are subjective. I have successfully brought myself into a "bad trip" and back out on acid, mushrooms, and even mda (a relative of mdma).
So the rest of this is going to be a point of view, none of it should be taken as objective, this is only what I have personally experienced and what resulted:
Having a bad trip is dwelling on things that you percieve as bad or unwanted. Like imagining your own grisly death or wondering if that noise outside was caused by the wind or federal agents about to bust down the door. Any "bad" thought can trigger a response. If your easily panicked, or have a tendency to obsess (guilty), you may find yourself in a "bad trip"...
I have never had a bad trip, simply because I am aware at all times, sober or frying, that I am in control of my thoughts and actions. I also have a very skewed idea of what good and evil really mean, if they exist at all. (Sorry, I'm trying my best not to get philosophical...)
I tend to let my mind wander and sometimes I say or hear someone say something that imediately puts me into a bad trip response. At that point I can continue to explore the feeling or ignore it and reassure myself that I am fine. Either way I do not end up tearing all my clothes off and running down the street screaming out fast food side items. (Curly fries!! Milkshakes!!)
I find it humorous that so many people do actually freak out on psychedelics. The only rational reason I can come up with is that they were uneducated about what they were taking and eventually convinced themselves that they had made a bad decision. Perhaps the time dialation effects make them feel as if the trip will never end, or maybe they were phucked up in the head to begin with and shouldn't have been messing with potent psychoactive chemicals.
That or they just like the attention...
Oh yea and I didn't watch the clip but Altered States involved more than just drug taking, it was drugs on top of total water submersion and sleep deprevation (i believe) which brought about altered states of consciousness. I have never experienced an altered state on lsd or mushies, but I did on salvia.
Sincerely,
Joe W.

I don't know, never done LSD before, but that was very freaky!!! It definitely wouldn't be called a good trip, that's for sure.
It honestly scared me... maybe it was mostly the music that was freaky though.
People on bad acid trips have been know to dig at their arms until they are bloody or jump out of windows, so it could be even worse than that video.
BTW, it is wierd that he assumed you were doing acid.
Obviously you aren't doing it or else you'd KNOW what a bad trip was like, right? LOL

Who cares! People who do drugs are so insecure, childish and cowards. If you're going to trip....trip on down to the morgue.
