Sounds like knocking coming from the trunk area, really bad over small bumps, great on straight drining. the Bushings underneath look good no cracks , struts look good aswell no leaks, anyone have any ideas what it could be.

Sounds like your rear bearings need changed. They will make and annoying sound like you car describing and aren't too hard to replace. You should be able to buy complete hub assemblys at your local parts store. GOOD LUCK!!

have you checked the exhaust system to see if any of the rubber hangers that hold it up have broken?? sometimes, depending on where you live, the weather can age the rubber and cause them to break (they look like square pieces of rubber with thread in them) . Anyway check the exhaust system to see if and of the hangers have broken loose, the pipes could be banging against the bottom of the car causing all the noise when you hit bumps. 2nd thing, look inside the trunk where the bolt for the struts may come thru, looking from under the car won't always tell you if you have some rust damage in the upper wheel well area where your struts could be sitting loose in the top of the wheelwell. good luck
