Do you own one? Do they never lose suction like the company says?

Intrepid:
I have the bissel bagless and it sucks. It gets plugged all the time and has no suction power, cant get the dirt out from against the walls. I would not buy another bissel.

I have a good friend who owns a vacuum cleaner store and he says the Dyson is the only one to buy. He stats that their HEPA system is better than any other bagless and does not recommend any bagless other than the Dyson. He sells all brands, but likes the Dyson's suction, reliability, etc. Thanks...

I just checked consumerreports.org and checked the upright vacuum cleaners ratings.
Dyson DC15 ($500) is rated 6th
DC07 ($400) is rated 13th
DC14 ($550) is rated 14th

I am neutral as I am satisfied with my Bissell and don't need a new one. I am not advertising for Consumer Reports, Bissell, or Dyson....Good Luck

I love my Dyson, does a really good job. It doesn't loose suction like a bag vac.

We where given the wrong attachment kit from the retailer, Dyson where so good to deal with, sent the right one out right away no charge.

I think you should go with a Dirt devil. If the guy in the commercial said it took him 1000 prototypes to get it right. My friend had a dyson and it broke really fast. Stick with Dirt devil

i have the dyson, and it does suck pretty well. but it is a clumsy vaccuum cleaner, and once you start taking the damn thing apart, and pretty much every part of it comes off, you'll need an engineer to put it back together. i wouldn't buy the overpriced thing again!

I own one and it's brill! I've got the pet version as we have loads of pets and it sucks everything up. Powerful. Mine also washes carpets too! If you can afford it, do it.

We had hoover after hoover before and was never totally satisfied but this one is great.
