Yes, in a job accident when I was a carpenter. I fell down a ramp while building a federal courthouse. I had a "broomstick break" and the doctor had to put 5 titanium screws and a plate in my leg forever. I still walk with a limp to this day because of that, but I also got a $ 100,000 settlement in the lawsuit and $ 14,000 from workers comp.

I broke my foot a couple of years ago when running. I twisted my foot on a rock, and my weight on the twisted foot fractured my 5th metatarsal.

Why did I do it? Don't know, but I had no catnip to take the pain away........... :(
