Gee, I always thought there was only one race....the human race. Where have I been?

No. They are not equal. They are different color. They seem to have things harder for most regions. Other then that blacks have all five senses with intelligence, smiles, tears, rage, jokes, racists, religions, goodness, hypocrites, genuiness, misled and creative which equals to any other race on earth.

I personally think every person is different and not equal, we don't even need to go to wide range of races. You gotta be kidding with this question.

Only difference on race is pitbull not mating a irish setter, when these dogs have beautiful cute pups they are still dogs. Which now the Human owner will teach discipline with love. Maybe another puppy will meet a different Human that will turn the dog crazy that need to be put to sleep.

Now these dogs are not equal, mostly because of their upbringing.

A can of worms.
Everyone should be treated as equal - irrespectgive of their skin colour.
When you ask if "Blacks are equal", well they certainly havent been treated as equals - which has a knock on effect. Immense progress has been made in the last 50 years. Just look at the change in Hollywood films. I love the Shirley Temple films, but lets face it even if they were period dramas - there was no "intelligent roles" for blacks. Thank God for the likes of Bill Cosby, Sidney Poitier and more recently, Morgan Friedman etc. The more they portray "equal roles" the more the rights of black people will advance.
Im white - middle class and succesful. The cleverest boss I have had was black and was a great guy. Its bad but I remember him mor for being great and black rather than just being great....
When I look at sports - I think that the blakc race is probably just marignally superior to the whites. The Asians seem to work a little harder. Is it their colour or is it their culture...
If you treat peopel as inferior - their expectations will be lower and its difficult for them to escape from the ghettos.
If there is a difference in the colours due to genetics Im sure it is so marginal that for every day life - its irrelevant.
Jesse Owen embarrased Hitler - and his "superior race". Joe Louis similarly with his fights against Max Schmelling (Max was not a rascist - but had to live under Nazi rule). These sportsmen lead the way for blacks to prove they are as good as whites. Now, we have actors, politicians, scientists.... showing that we are all capable of great things irrespective of our colour.

What aspect are u asking this question? Blacks are just as equal as other races why wouldn't they be? They've made contributions throughout the United States as well as the world. I think you may need to take an African-American History course so that you find trace the history of African-Americans and get on track.

Equal in what way? Are you asking if they are treated equally, or if they are inherently equal? And when you say "Blacks", do you refer to African, African-American, Jamaican? I know a man from Sweden who referred to black immigrants in his country, and when I asked him what country they were from, he said "You know, the middle east. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan". Other cultures don't mean the same thing when they say the word "black". There are some people from India who are considered black-bodied as well. In fact, the Hindu God Krsna is described as having a blackish appearance, as well as some descriptions of the Buddha.

Physically, mentally, or politically. Physically and mentally yes, but politically no. They have been oppressed, had half their population removed to be slaves in other parts of the world, have famine and nobody helps, and had major colonization of their lands. This doesn't make them unequal on any other level then the forced oppression of others who see themselves as superior. I have known around 5 African people, who came here, and when afforded the chance of an education and proper health care actually were better at what they did then the average American. I knew a girl who came from Rwanda, and lived through the civil war at the age of 4 then lived in refugee camps for years. She got here and is on her way to college. Don't know any American who overcame that and still made it out. So I guess in their resiliency there are very superior.

I would say on an evolutionary standpoint they are superior in that their darker and thicker skin gives for better protection against harmful UV rays. And african americans, due to slavery and a process of forced natural selection have become stronger and more fit. Just look at the professional sports leagues.
