The last set of numbers is the computer system identifier. However many IP's will change those if you sign out and then back on. So it could be thee same person sending the emails. Hope this helps

It's likely that they're on the same (sub)network, which itself was assign a range of IP addresses including the two you see. In fact, the range 62.254.64.0 - 62.254.95.255 is assigned to
NTL Internet
Middlesborough site
GB
So either they both work for NTL Internet or have an account there.

Those aren't the person's IP addresses. Those are the IP addresses of the mail server the person used.

In this case, it is one of the mail servers of a company called NTL Internet Ltd.

NTL Internet Ltd
Caradog House
Cleppa Park
Newport, Gwent np10 8ug
UK

They have a range of IP addresses dedicated to their mail servers.

midd-cache-2.server.ntli.net 62.254.64.13
midd-cache-3.server.ntli.net 62.254.64.14
midd-cache-4.server.ntli.net 62.254.64.15
midd-cache-5.server.ntli.net 62.254.64.16

etc.

Emails they send could come from any one of them. Most companies that offer mail service have multiple mail servers. check out hotmail:

start > run > cmd > nslookup -q=mx hotmail.com

or Yahoo

nslookup -q=mx yahoo.com

etc

They were sent from different machines.

IP addressing is the method used to direct traffic to PC's

It means they are on the same network, probably the same router.
