For the past week my videos on Media Player 11 have been very dark. At times when i watch a video clip its in greens and blues and very dard. Also, I cant watch my DVD's using Power DVD because they are also dark. What is wrong with my computer? I have reinstalled WMP11 and my Power DVD Software but with no luck. Anyone have this same problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Everything else looks great on the monitor. I am able to play FEAR, HL2, and Planetside with no problems. Its just when I want to watch videos or DVDs.

Sounds like a graphics card problem too me - update your drivers perhaps?
Does everything else look OK? Photos etc?

Change some of your resolution settings around.

Try connecting your computer to a different monitor and run your Media Player under the new monitor If everything comes up normal, theres a good bet your original monitor has a problem and you should look into getting a new one.

If you are seeing mostly greens and blues and everything is dark, there is a good chance that one of the color guns in your monitor is going bad. However if it is only while watching movies, and the desktop and everything else is nice and bright, there is a setting under tools that will allow you to adjust the gamma setting. Just point it to a brighter setting. Hope this helps

Try adjusting the brightness in properties. If that doesn't work, maybe it's a worn out monitor.
