Read the book. Or did you forget it, which is the classic excuse. Why do kids always come on here looking for answers to questions like these? Do your own damn homework! Oh, and as everyone above me has already said, it's a great book, you should read it.

I realize that my posting will be of no help to you, but..its too bad that you didn't read the book. If you did, you would have had no problem answering these questions. You would have gotten a lot from this classic story...more than the answers to your homework questions. It was a great book--read it sometime, seriously. If you have dyslexia...you could have rented the movie.

You would know if you had actually read the book and spent less time on the internet. By the way, it's a really good book, one of my all-time favorites.

the answers to your questions lie within the book, which, I think it is unanimous, you should read. But you can also go to http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/mocking/ and find some answers. You still have to do some work, which it looks like you're trying to get out of....
