My mom keeps telling me i have to go to the gyn soon and i have some questions about that:
1. Will they break my hymen?
2. How can i be sure i get a female doctor?
3. should i shave down there before i go?
4. any other things you can tell me so im not so nervous and uncomfortable
5. would i be more open to using tampons after? or should i start using tampons before i go?

They will not break your hymen if it is not broken but it can be broken by tampons and most physical actificy
You can specifically ask for a female
Shaving is not nessicary but if you fell more comfortable then sure shave
Keep you socks on and tell them youre neervous
It doesn't matter when you start using tampons I used them on m y first period

2. When you call to make the appointment, request a female doctor. if they dont have one, find somewhere else to go.
3. You dont have it shave, but a nice trim might be nice. I think they've seen it all.
4. They've seen many vaginas, yours wont be anything new. Relax and breathe, have your mom or a friend come in for support to stand at your head and hold your hand. Or, ask your doctor to explain everything that they are doing as they are doing it. It makes it a little easier when you know whats they're looking for, what they're touching and why.
5. Going will not make you more willing to use tampons. Thats more of a mental thing. Start using tampons when YOU decide you want to, and it has no effect on your exam.

Going to the gyno is something all women have to face. If you are going to a facility where there are many gyno's make sure you let the receptionist know that you want a female dr. I wouldnt shave down there before you go , trim and make sure it is clean. Just remember the dr is there to help you and protect you and your body . Make sure you let the dr know that you are nervous and most likely they will do their best to calm your nerves and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Tampons are a personal choice. If you have any questions make sure to ask your dr on the pros and cons of wearing or using tampons.

lol no they will not break your hymen
majority of the doctors are women
you don't need to shave down there,unless you choose to
there is nothing to be nervous about they will probably get you started on the pill to regulate your periods,thats all.
about the tampons whatever you are comfortable with.

Well if they break your haymen it's no big deal but there is like a 12 percent chance of it happening so no i dought it.
