Hi,

Follow these steps.

1. Turn off the computer
2. Plug out the USB cable from the computer
3. Turn the computer on
4. Plug in the cable when the computer is totally ready

This will detect the USB storage device and work properly.

Always remember to safely remove the usb device. To do this, right click on the usb mass storage device icon on the task bar near the computer clock on the right hand side corner of your computer screen. Click on safely remove hardware. This will prompt you a dialog box. Click on the device and click stop.

The other way is to turn off the computer and then remove it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Zubair
